Complete branding, marketing, and website design for Spirit Lake Lodge.
While working for The Journey they obtained property in the Uinta Mountains that had a large lodge and several smaller cabins next to Spirit Lake.
I designed the logo and branding for the lodge from the ground-up as well as designed and developed the website, produced materials for marketing, and designs for products sold at the lodge.
The owner wanted a classic Americana camping feel, which I incorporated into a clean, more modern design, leaning heavily on photos of the lodge and surrounding wilderness, most I took and edited myself, to really highlight the beauty of the unique area.
Inspiration came from 1940's National Parks ads with muted colors, added decorative framing items, and highly stylized script fonts mixed together with varying sizes and weights.
