Fully animated videos for a series about total knee replacement to help patients know what to expect before, during and after surgery. I created the storyboards based on a scripted V/O and worked with an animator to create the final videos. As this was a fully animated piece the storyboarding was a bit more in depth then some other types of projects. I relied on coloring for wayfinding throughout the longer video to match the iconography used in representing the different aspects of the topics covered. Since fully animated character work takes much longer on the animator’s part, I used such instances sparingly, and when possible reused scenes or elements from other videos in this series.
